There were 14 participants in the competition, and 6 qualified with 2 wins or more.
Being the top two qualifiers Colleen and Theresa had bye’s the first round.
Jeanette v Jan and Gayle v Sheryl each played the first round.
Jan and Gayle were the winners of those two games.
Round 2 was Jan v Theresa and Gayle v Colleen.
The winners of those games were Theresa and Colleen who then continued into the Final.
And the winner of that (for the 3rd year running!) was Colleen. 21/15.
There were some very close games and some excellent bowling in perfect conditions and once again showed the quality of our juniors. Although it was a handicap competition, the handicaps did not play a very significant part in the final results.
Thank you markers (some of whom only came to watch but were persuaded otherwise) and all who helped in various ways on the day.
