The Bowls North Harbour new bowls season has started with the Official Opening last Sunday of the running of the traditional Executive bonus fours which were held at Takapuna.  This event is for executives from each North Harbour club.

The event was won by Hobsonville, narrowly from BNH Umpires and then Helensville.  Mairangi Bay finished eighth out of sixteen teams with one win and one loss.  Our team was Gaye Horne, Allan Langley, Colleen Rice and Tony Stanaway.

This coming weekend sees the running of the first major tournament, NHB Mixed 2x4x2 Pairs, where composite teams can compete.

Play commences on Saturday at 9.00am, Sunday will be post section, this will be held at Takapuna commencing at 8.30am.
