Another game that came down to the wire. They played Club Tumut from Australia. After a slow start Team  Brian made a comeback to be 23/25 at 23 ends to 24/25 heading into the last end but ultimately lost on the last bowl. Final score. 24/26.

On the other green Phil, Alan, Leon and Bevan had a great win against a Palmerston North team. Final Score 26/15.

It was lunchtime by now , actually getting on for 2pm! so headed the 30km to Stratford to see how the Tony, Tony, Tony and David team were doing. Level nearing the last end they ultimately beat team Fitzroy 27/23.

So 1 more Mairangi team to watch tomorrow .. Jerry, Kevin, Barry and Ralph.
