Traditionally played on Waitangi Day State of Origin is a half day tournament open to all club members, Full, Limited & Business House Plus.

Teams are  named after  Rugby teams  & your team is decided by the Country or New Zealand province in which you were born.  Hence born in Auckland you will be in the Blues team, Wellington, Hurricanes, born in the UK your team will be  the Lions.

On the day it is fun to dress in colours representing your team.  Play commences at 1.00 pm. We play 3 games of approximately 1 hour 10 minutes.  Entry fee is $5.00 with an optional $10.00 pp for a Chinese dinner to follow. Non playing partners are welcome to join us for dinner

This year State of Origin will be held on Sunday February 2nd as there will be a regular Thursday A/C  Triples commencing at 9.15 on the 6th
