On Tuesday 20th November we held the 2nd Retirement Villages Invitation Tournament. Once again it was very well supported with 26 Village teams from 10 Villages  participating along with 4 Mairangi Bay teams.  Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us & the 3rd game of the day had to be abandoned partway through.  The winning team was a new entry for this year Allen & Ann Pearce along with Isabelle Wright from Evelyn Page Retirement Village with 2 wins & 12 ends. 
It was great to see both greens in  full use, especially as we also had a corporate booking using the carpet green. A really busy day at Mairangi Bowling Club.
