A good field of 20 and a hot sunny day resulted in a closely fought haggle on Saturday. After the rain the greens were under water and closed so on to the carpet we went. The top four teams were unbeaten resulting in a tight competition for places. The top two 3 winners were separated by just 4 points while the minor place getters on 2 1/2 wins were separated by 1 end. David Payne was the big winner in the raffle scooping two prizes.
