Mairangi Bay was the “in-place” to be today and finding a car park was definitely the biggest challenge !
With the Mairangi Bay Santa Parade and celebrations, plus nearby volleyball games, the Bowling Club hosted Centre Women’s Singles, as well as the Fishing Club’s Opening Day and Weigh-In, plus (more importantly) our haggle.
The 20 haggle players played 3 games of 2 – 4 – 2 with some very close results. The winners were as follows:
1. Les Boulton and Jane Mackay with 3 Wins, 11 ends, 25 – 16 points.
2. Pat Clarke and Eddy Sanders with 3 Wins, 10 ends, 24 – 16 points.
3. Muy Chhour and Ralph Cullen with 2 Wins, 10 ends and 20 – 15 points
4. Stuart Mackay and Pat Smith with 2 Wins, 9 ends and 25 – 18 points
