Over 50 players took part in the open triples this Thursday and enjoyed the stunning Autumn conditions and the opportunity to once again play on the natural grass Mayfair green.

Finding it to their liking and taking out first place was the visiting team of Ian Hardy, Steve Hoeft and Evan Thomas who managed 4 Wins, 32 Ends and 61 Points.  Congratulations.

In receiving the prize for first place, Steve Hoeft thanked the organiser, Tony Stanaway, the volunteers, the ladies who organised the morning tea and all those who made the day possible.

It seems likely that the final of the summer season events next Thursday will also take place on the grass.  What a great summer!!
