At Tuesday’s Club Day we had 17 entries all of whom benefitted from the warm, sunny afternoon. It was great to welcome Nicole, Norman and Linley from Business House again.
We had 8 teams of pairs, each person playing 3 bowls and points were given as follows: 4 points for nearest to the jack, 3 for second, 2 for third and 1 point for fourth. Three games of 8 ends were played,with a new partner drawn each time.
Winner for the afternoon with 3 wins was Muy Chhour with 131 – 109 points. The best of the 2 winners were Murray Dyson 145 – 85, Julie Chhour 142 – 98, and Les Boulton 132 – 118.
The next Club Day is August 20.
