Four enthusiastic bowlers – Annie McGrath, Janet Lyons, Rhonda Dredge and Julie Chhour – entered into the Women’s 1st Year Singles  held on a beautiful sunny Saturday 30th April 2022.  The format was a round robin.

Julie and Annie had two wins in the morning and their deciding game was a thriller.  Julie was leading 12 – 10 until Annie crept up to level it at 13 all. and then 18 all.  At 20 to 18 to Julie she played three lovely bowls to become the Womens 1st Year Single Champion for the 2021 / 2022 season.
