Overview: The 2023 Winter Haggle League is an ongoing competition run over the winter to try to encourage more players to take part in the haggle by accumulating points over the winter.

Starts: Sunday 23rd April 2023 at 12.30pm
Finishes: Saturday 30 September 2023 at 12.30pm

The Haggle runs as per normal with the usual prizes but players accumulate points from each haggle over the winter season. Only club members are included in the league.

• 3 quick 50-55min games starting at 12.30 finishing around 3.30pm

• Single Entry – Blind draw
• Fun, casual, bar open afterwards
• Raffles
• 2-4-2 if possible but can vary depending on entries on the day
• $7 entry fee

Points Allocation
1st – 5pts
2nd – 4 pts
3rd – 3 pts
4th – 2 pts
participating – 1 pt.

1st round on Sunday 23 April – double points
last round on Sat 30 September – double points
any round with fewer than 16 players (15 or less) – double points
any round played on a Sunday – double points
any player who plays 5 weeks in a row – bonus 5 points (can be repeated)
Final round and prize giving Sat 30 September (or whenever winter season ends).

Regular weekly prizes as there is now plus at the end of the winter.
Based on a prize pool of $500. Half will be given as lucky dip.
1^st – $100
2^nd – $80
3^rd – $70

Plus 5 prizes of $50 drawn at random.

Players will need to compete in a minimum number of rounds or points required to be in random draw.
