This weekend sees the fourth week of the Bowls North Harbour centre Champ of Champ events.

This weekend it is the men and women triples.

We have Elaine McClintock, Kerin Roberts and Irene Donaldson representing Mairangi Bay in the women’s event.

In the men’s we have Leon Wech, John Gledhill and Gerry Strydom representing Mairangi Bay.

The men play at Mahurangi East on Saturday with finals at Manly on Sunday.

The women play at Manly on both days.

Round 1 has only one game for the men starting at 9.00am. The round of 16 will start sometime close to 11.00/11.15am with our men playing Milford, the quarter finals will follow.

Semi- final and final will be played on Sunday, starting at 10.00am at Manly.

The women start their first round at 10.00am.

They have drawn Beachhaven in round 1, the next round will be the quarter finals with the semi and final on Sunday.

Good bowling to both our teams and Supporters will be muchly appreciated, a bit further to go this time!
