We have three Mairangi Bay bowlers named in the North Harbour Intercentre team which is to be played at Naenae bowling club, Lower Hutt, Wellington. This will be played from Thursday 14th March to Sunday 17th. Results will be available on BowlsHub and can be accessed via the link on the Bowls New Zealand website.

Also congratulations to Rosemary Nicol, Glenda Rountree and Julie Chhour for being selected in the North Harbour 1-5 rep team for the final quad tournament last Sunday 10 March..
This is the final year for Rosemary and Glenda as they have become too old, as 1-5 players, that is. Julie still has two years left as a 1-5 player.
Unfortunately it was a difficult day at Carlton- Cornwall club with really fast greens. They lost the first round to Auckland 6-0, drew with Northland 3 all and lost to Waikato 4-2.
They finished third overall and will be disappointed with their result after some very good performances earlier in the season.
The men had a similar result finishing second on differential behind Auckland.
