The weather gods smiled benignly on MBBC on Friday December 8th when we had our annual Christmas Ham Tournament sponsored by Milford Asset Management.

A full field of 32 teams including visitors from Takapuna, Browns Bay, Birkenhead, Orewa & Beach Haven enabled us to run a Winners play Winners format which gave us one clear cut 4 game winner on each green.

Mike Cruickshank representing Milford Asset Management attended the Prize Giving. 

There were 36 hams being contested for & the competition was fierce.

Winners from the Mayfair green were Ian Hardy, Ric Lydford & Jacqui Belcher, with Runners Up Judith Seagar, Con Kater & Des Lowe all receiving hams.

From the Knightsbridge green the winners were Anne Dorreen, Graham Dorreen & Wynn Gray, with Runners Up Phyl Humphries, Gerd Hutcheson & Jim Price (with Alan Donnelly filling in for Jim in the morning games) all taking home hams.

Prizes were also awarded for the next best 3 winner & 4 Round prizes as well as a Lucky Draw on each green.

It was great to see 2 full greens in action with everyone enjoying themselves.
