The final day of Fairview/Settlers 2Bowl Triples was played on a beautiful autumn day, March 20.  With so much bowls activity on offer tat this time, the  numbers were down but those who played enjoyed excellent conditions and competitive play.

Unfortunately neither Robyn or Linda, our sponsors, were able to attend but our President Tony Stanaway, a resident of Fairview Village spoke enthusiastically about his village.

The only 4 winners of the day were Lindsay Gilmore, Bruce McClintock & Colin Rogan. Close behind them on 3 1/2 wins were Ian Coombe, John Valentine & Bruce Alay. In 3 rd place with 3 wins & 32 ends were Jan Gledhill, Colleen Rice & David Payne. Also with 3 wins but 26 ends were Evan Thomas, Ian Hardy & Connie Mathieson who took out 4th spot. Lucky 13th went to Geraldine Wight, Lorna Donald & Joy Watkinson.  The best of the 2 winners was Gerry Strydom, Barry Baillie & Rosemary Nicol who had 20 ends with their 2 wins. Tony Stanaway, Jim Price & Muy Chhour had the highest winning differential on one game with a +11.
