It was a bleak cold day on the rink for our 28 intrepid bowlers on Saturday but the sun was out for our diminutive new star.

In a rare event Bowls Mega-star Annie “Oakley” McGrath, fresh form her shootout in Glen Eden, had both 6 guns blazing as she hit the jackpot with three wins in three weeks in the Saturday Haggle. Annie and her (fortunate) partner Paul Dean were the only 3 winners in a tightly fought day.

In the Winter League a 5 point bonus for 5 weeks in a row keeps last years champion Graham Ward in 1st place with 40 points. Muy Chhour 2nd 5 week bonus moves her to 2nd place with 36 points and Enid Di Cesare rounds out the top 3 with 32 points.
