ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of Bowls North Harbour Inc. will be held on Sunday 21 June 2020 commencing at 11.00am at Orewa Bowling Club, 214 Hibiscus Coast Highway, Orewa.
Each club is entitled to be represented by one delegate at the meeting and to vote on behalf of the club they represent. Other members of clubs are entitled to attend as observers.
As per the Bowls North Harbour constitution rule 23.4 a notice of motion proposed by the Centre Board or by a club must be received 40 days prior to the date of the annual general meeting, unless otherwise agreed by the Centre Board. Any notice of motion from a club must be signed by the Club president or the Club secretary.
The Centre Board has no notice of motion to be considered and does not propose a change to the membership fee.
The Centre Board has agreed, in the current circumstances of Government requirements, to change the closing date for all Board nominations and notices of motion to 21 May 2020. This will enable the agenda to be forwarded to clubs no later than 30 days prior to the meeting as required by the Constitution.
NOTE: Preparations are continuing on the basis that the meeting will proceed on the proposed date, Sunday 21 June 2020. Any change to this date, or form of meeting, brought about by Government requirements will be advised in due course.
