Men`s Club Fours 2022/ 2023 winners.
The Men`s Club Fours was completed on St Paddy`s day Friday 17th March.
The finalist teams were
Murray Radojkovich, Stuart Jamieson, Kevin Cameron and Steve McGregor.
Peter Orgias, Alan Daniels, Kevin Robertson and Allan Langley.
The Orgias team got away well after losing the first end and built a small lead. Ends were close with all players putting in good bowls.
After an hour there was a very heavy shower which altered the green. When they came back there was quite a lot of water on the surface, bowling was tricky. Orgias still had a small lead . Shortly after the Radojkovich team gave away a five, things were looking gloomy for them.
Next end the Orgias team were holding two and the win was looking close. But Murray came in, moved the jack to pick up a three and also then win the next two ends.
Two ends to go all square, Peters team picked up the last two ends to take the Trophy 13-11.Allan Langley and Steve McGregor had an excellent battle at lead but in the end Allan just had the edge.
It was close fought battle which could have gone either way in those last two ends.
Well done to both teams for making the final.
