Friday December 16th saw a break in the unseasonable weather we have been experiencing and our Ham & Bubbles Tournament was played in fine, warm weather. Which meant the Harcourts Coffee & Cone van, generously organised by Jo Mimmack & James Dixon was very well patronised.  We are very grateful to Jo & James for their ongoing support of our club activities.

Close of play saw us all enjoying a glass (sometimes 2) of bubbles, once again supplied by Jo & James, leading into our very enjoyable Social evening, with music from the Hi Jacks (aka Keith Berman, Pete & Ed). Refreshments were catered for by Colleen, Gaye, Jo, Rosemary, Flora & Joy Watkinson. This year instead of nibbles the catering team provided us with ham, chicken, bread rolls and a variety of salad fixings for a DIY supper. All of which were very well received. Thank you Ladies.

Winners on the day were Alison Rennie, Kevin Cameron, Theresa Rogers, Arthur Beale & John Valentine who all received hams.  Bottles of bubbles went to Rachel Long, Peter Orgias, Barry McCrystal, Lorna Donald, Brian Rogers & Ron Horne.

The Christmas Hamper Raffles were drawn on the night with Marilyn Trent, Brian Nolan & Graeme McGregor being the lucky winners. Thank you to all those who supported this raffle and a big thank you to Jo Baxter who put the hampers together.
