The Saturday afternoon haggle was well supported and played in absolutely perfect winter conditions.

The format of 2-4-2 is proving to be very popular as is the drawn team selection which means that less experienced players are teamed with more experienced players.

Neville O’Connor and Priscilla Page were the only 3 winners today.

So they beat the two winners Carol Miles and Alan Lightwark.  Alan was a first time player from our Wednesday business competition and it was great to see him enter into the days play. 

They were followed by another two winner, Tony Popplewell and Pam O’Connor.

This competition is open to all members and it is proving to be popular, so please get your name in early. There is a sheet up in the clubhouse and a phone call to the club from 10:30 to 11:30 on Saturday morning will get you a late entry if entries are required to balance the teams.
