Over the weekend Saturday 8 & Sunday 9th October, twelve women competed in the Handicap Singles. Eight qualified and the four semifinalists were Jan Gledhill, Colleen Rice, Gaye Horne and Marie Cooper (who Gerd more or less forced to enter, to make it even twelve, and didn’t she do well.).

Colleen, on scratch, and Gayle, on 2 hcp, fought a great game in the final, which Gaye eventually won with 21-19. Congratulations Gaye and a special thanks to our markers.
