The message went out that the conditions on the Harcourt’s Community Carpet Green were not so bad, just a slight breeze, however as the afternoon went on it the breeze got stronger and the temperature dropped and then the rain bucketed down just as the final end was being played. Brrr, it was cold. Many thanks to those who braved the conditions to help with the pack up and put away.

Points accumulate over the winter with each player getting 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 1 for turning up, 2 for being the winner on the day and 1 for being the day runner up. So a possible 9 points for 3 wins, winning the day and turning up.
