Once again there was a good-sized field for the Saturday afternoon Haggle and they were surprised to be able to play on our natural grass greens as the Bowls North Harbour tournament finished around midday.  With the green running very quickly and a decent cross breeze, the conditions were a little tricky and it took some an end or two to adjust.  However, there were some great bowls played across all the rinks and it’s very encouraging to see how the new bowlers are progressing and improving.
