The Women’s Championship Pairs was played on the weekend of the 9th & 10th of January in mainly glorious weather.

The competition was made up of 10 teams who each played 3 games, needing 2 or 3 wins to qualify.

The qualifying teams where Caryl Miles /Gaye Horne, Sheryl Wellington/Theresa Rogers, Sherril Watson/Marie Cooper, Jo Baxter/Pat Clarke, Jan Gledhill/Colleen Rice and Enid Di Cesare/Margaret O’Carroll.

In the first post qualifying games on the Sunday, Caryl and Gaye almost beat Sheryl and Theresa, and Sherril and Marie did beat Jan and Colleen!  Jo and Pat and Enid and Margaret had a late start and Jo and Pat won that game.

Sheryl and Theresa went on to beat Sherril and Marie, and won the final against Jo and Pat.

Congratulations to Sheryl Wellington and Theresa Rogers, the 2020 – 2021 season Women’s Pairs Champions.
