A very successful Family & friends Day was held on the afternoon of Sunday November 22  after a slightly delayed start due to Bowls 3 Five having to be moved from a waterlogged Mayfair green up to our Harcourts Cooper & Co Community Green.

Thanks to Rick George we had over 40 people from the Tennis Club, along with a few family members of our own Club members. After a few rudimentary instructions most took to the game with great enthusiasm. So much so that there was talk of it being a monthly event!!!

A big thank you to Cathy Lloydd, Bruce & Helen the 2 Ricks, Tony Pops, Marian, Barry Butcher, Jan & John  Gledhill & Club Captains Phyl & Baz for helping to make this an enjoyable afternoon for all involved. A big thank you also to Colleen for running the bar & Ian Coombe who manned the BBQ as well as sharing some coaching tips.
