It was another lovely day for bowls, with lots of sunshine and fresh breezes. After a number of teams & players pulling out at the last minute, we ended up with 18 teams. Norma Vaz from Parklane village came & presented the prizes, she also gave everyone an idea about how much it would cost to buy either a villa, an apartment or a serviced apartment at Parklane and what the weekly costs would be.

There were only 2 teams with 4 wins, The winners with 4 wins, 35 ends and 55 points were Brian Rogers, Dawn Whimp and Theresa Rogers. Second with 4 wins, 30 ends and 61 points were Grant Keats, Trish Hardy and Ian Hardy. Third with 3  wins, 29 ends and 51 points were Gaye Horne, Ron Horne and Tony James. The Daily Prize with 2 wins in the afternoon, 15 ends and a massive 38 points went to Glenda Rountree, Chris Charles and Judi Farkash. The Lucky Dip went to Jane Mackay, Stuart Mackay and Annie McGrath.
