The first of our social Bowls  tournaments was held on Friday, October 18.  Under blustery conditions 26 players battled it out in a three round competition. Winners on the day where Jane MacKay and Russell Parkinson. In second place were Theresa Rogers and John Miles . Coming in at fifth was Rosemary Nicol and sixth was Caryl Miles .

The tournament was followed by a Chinese buffet meal which was enjoyed by the 30 people who stayed on.

It was great to welcome Verna Cain (Larry’s wife) who is a first year bowler and also to welcome back Alison & Ron Rennie.

The next social tournament will be Ham & Bubbles on Friday December 13. Book on line.
