A very blustery & cool October 15  saw the first of our Silverfin 5’s played in very challenging conditions.

We had one 6 winner & three 5 winners taking out the top four prizes.

First with 6 wins was the team of Elaine & Bruce McClintock, Kerin Roberts, Phil Chisholm & Bart Robertson.                                                                                                                                                                      In second place with 5 wins & 59 ends were Jan Harrison, Kathy Steven’s, Walter Howden, Warren Seeque & Doug Hiki.                 Close behind in 3rd place with 5 wins & 55 ends were Ian & Trish Hardy, Wendy Jensen, Grant Keats & Evan Thomas.     Fourth place went to Peter & Jeanette Orgias, Allan Langley, Gordon Jenkins & Mike Jelley.

Zavier Anderson & James Duanmu, both Property Managers with Silverfin Capital were present to give a short presentation & award the prizes. MBBC is grateful to Silverfin Capital for their continued generous sponsorship & support of our club.

The next Silverfin 5’s will be Tuesday November 19. Many of you will be relieved to know the break for morning tea has had a reprieve as Barbara Friedlos has very kindly offered to come from Torbay to pour the cups of tea at the morning break & lunch time. Thank you, Barbara 😊
