The final round of the Centuria-Bayleys Winter Haggle League took place on Saturday. Despite the awful weather forecast 17 keen bowlers turned up and were rewarded with mostly a nice day. The weather packed up half way through the last game but everyone soldiered on and completed the days play.

2nd – Stuart Mackay & Jim Center 2W 13E 25pts
3rd – Enid Di Cesare & Barry Baillie 2W 10E 18pts
4th – Muy Chhour & Alan Jury 2W 10E 15pts
Centuria-Bayleys Winter League Results
In The Winter League itself a total of 19 rounds were played. One round was lost to bad weather and one to cancellation caused by the carpark issues. The top three place-getters share $250 in prizes and were:
1st – Muy Chhour 73pts 19 rounds played
2nd – Graham Ward – 68pts 18 rounds played
3rd – Enid Di Cesare – 67pts 18 rounds played
4th equal were Saturdays winners Les Boulton and Annie McGrath with 45pts.
A total of 64 club members played over the winter with 27 playing at least 6 rounds which qualifies them for a chance at one of the 5 lucky dip prizes of $50.
Prize giving and the lucky dip draw will be next Saturday 21 September.
Please note that the haggle will continue to start at 12.30pm until October. The first Saturday in October will start at 1pm.
