Last Thursday was the last of the winter Thursday triples. No rain, no sunshine, no wind, and two bowls.

Only one four winner, so first place to Stuart McKay, Rick George and Rick Dixon.
Second, with three wins and 30 ends was Peter Orgias, Gordon Jenkins and Allan Langley.
Third, also with three wins but 26 ends was David Lloyd, John Lindsay and John Miles.
The daily prize was opened up a little, with any two consecutive wins being in the hunt for the prize money.

Made no difference though, with the money going to Russell Parkinson, John Smith and Annie McGrath who had two wins, 16 ends and 29 points in the morning. Unlucky was the Brian Nolan team who also had two wins, 16 ends but only 24 points. Lucky dip went to Roger Potter, Bill Lowe and David Hope.

Next week is the start of the summer season, so club or team colours, or whites are required to be worn for full day tournaments. Next Thursday is single entry, triples or fours depending on the number of entries, so get your entries in, online.
