Fulton Hogan have advised us off the following. There is already other works underway.
Fulton Hogan, on behalf of Auckland Transport, is scheduled to commence road rehabilitation work along Ramsgate Terrace and a small section of Maxwelton Drive at the start of September. Work includes removing the existing road surface, digging out to a depth of approx. 400mm, pouring concrete to provide a strong subbase and then place up to three layers of asphalt on top. Work will be broken into smaller manageable sections and each section will take approx. one week to complete. Due to the nature of the work, when we work directly in front of Mairangi Bay Bowling Club, there will be no vehicle access in or out of the carpark for one week. When we work on the opposite side of the road, there will be limited vehicle access in and out of the Bowling Club carpark during work hours.
Fulton Hogan are currently scheduled to commence work at the Maxwelton Drive end and make their way towards the Bowling Club.
We will update members as we receive more information. We suggest that wherever possible and especially on Thursdays members try to car pool as parking will be very limited.
