Hi Everyone, this coming Sunday, 4th August sees the running of the Stanaway Trophy fours for 1-8 year bowlers at Manly Bowls Club.  Each team must have at least two 1-5 players.  A full field of 32 teams are entered with teams from Auckland clubs and North Harbour teams.  The Auckland clubs are not entitled to win the trophy but they are allowed to win the increased prize money on offer.  The trophy will go to the highest-placed North Harbour side.

We have two teams entered. Many of our players are currently away, hence the entry of only two teams.

Our teams are:
Glyn Taylor, Flora Macdonald, Judi Farkash and Louise Ball.
Roger Potter, Graeme Storey, Pat Smith and Annie McGrath.

Good bowling to all our players and if you are around Manly on Sunday or feel the need for a Sunday drive, you will be most welcome to give some support to both teams.
