In great weather, the annual games that go with the visit by the Australian touring group were held with the 10 teams from the winterless sunshine coast and matching up against our local triples teams.

The prizes were different to the normal – no 1st, 2nd and third.

However, there was a best overall winner and it was a visiting team. The skip was Alan Owen who had Larry Haines and Anthony Henncus with him.

And the competition between Australia and New Zealand was won by New Zealand.

Special thanks to the ladies helped with the spirit of the day by adding a morning and afternoon tea.
And a big thank you to the club members who billeted the visitors.
